Berger Commercial Realty Expands Leadership Team with Appointment of Nancy Palazzo as Senior Property Manager

Berger Commercial Realty, a prominent commercial real estate firm operating across South Florida, has officially announced the appointment of Nancy Palazzo, CPM®, as its new Senior Property Manager. Palazzo brings to the firm more than a decade of extensive leadership experience in the commercial real estate sector, specializing in the comprehensive oversight of diverse portfolios encompassing commercial, industrial, retail, and mixed-use properties. Throughout her career, she has consistently maintained a sharp focus on driving operational efficiency, optimizing financial performance, and enhancing overall asset value for property owners and institutional investors.

Prior to stepping into her new role at Berger Commercial Realty, Palazzo served as an Asset and Third-Party Manager at Brickbox Management located in Fort Lauderdale. In that capacity, she was entrusted with the direct oversight of a wide-ranging portfolio of commercial, industrial, and mixed-use real estate assets. Her day-to-day responsibilities at Brickbox Management were multifaceted, requiring a high level of expertise in lease administration, comprehensive financial reporting, proactive tenant relations, vendor management, and the meticulous handling of common area maintenance, commonly known as CAM, reconciliations. These foundational duties allowed her to refine her ability to balance the operational needs of physical buildings with the financial expectations of ownership groups.

Palazzo’s impressive professional background also includes a notable tenure as the Vice President of Operations at GY Properties, a real estate firm based in Philadelphia. In this high-level executive role, she successfully directed comprehensive operations and formulated asset strategies for a sprawling multistate real estate portfolio valued at well over $500 million. During her time with GY Properties, Palazzo spearheaded critical initiatives centered heavily on operational improvements, strategic cost management, stringent regulatory compliance, and elevated tenant satisfaction. Managing a portfolio of that scale required sophisticated planning, cross-functional team leadership, and a rigorous approach to financial stewardship, all of which position her as a highly capable addition to the Berger Commercial Realty management team.

Before her leadership role in Philadelphia, Palazzo built a robust foundation in property and asset management through key professional engagements with several notable organizations. Her career trajectory includes leadership positions with MultiPro Property Solutions situated in Boca Raton, Florida, Homeless Solutions Inc. in the state of New Jersey, and Silbert Realty and Management. Across these various organizations, she gained hands-on experience managing a diverse mix of commercial, retail, and mixed-use real estate assets, further broadening her industry knowledge and operational adaptability across different geographic markets and property types.

Demonstrating a deep commitment to professional excellence and industry standards, Palazzo maintains several prestigious credentials and designations. She holds the esteemed Certified Property Manager designation, widely recognized as the CPM® credential, awarded by the Institute of Real Estate Management. In addition to her CPM® certification, she is a Certified Apartment Portfolio Supervisor, commonly referred to as CAPS, and a Certified Credit Compliance Professional, known by the C3P designation. Academically, Palazzo earned her bachelor’s degree from William Paterson University, located in the state of New Jersey, providing a strong educational foundation for her multifaceted career in commercial real estate administration and executive operations.

In her new capacity at Berger Commercial Realty, Palazzo will play a vital role in supporting the firm’s robust property management operations. Drawing directly upon her extensive, multi-year experience in portfolio oversight, complex financial management, dedicated tenant relations, and high-level operational strategy, she will focus intently on enhancing service delivery across the board. Her overarching objective with the firm will be to maximize long-term asset performance and value for property owners who entrust their commercial investments to Berger Commercial Realty.

The strategic appointment of Palazzo arrives at a time of continued growth and operational enhancement for the firm. Her arrival further strengthens Berger Commercial Realty’s already formidable property management capabilities. As the company moves forward, it continues to provide comprehensive, high-quality services to a growing roster of commercial property owners, landlords, and institutional investors throughout the key South Florida markets of Miami-Dade, Broward, and Palm Beach counties.
